Concerns about the cybersecurity and resilience of power systems have heightened in electric utilities regulatory agencies over past decade mainly because unpredictable target, location scale cyberattacks potential severity consequences. The pilot protection is paramount bulk considering their prevalence crucial role they play protecting critical assets preventing large system disturbances major blackouts. This paper investigates using a co-simulation platform based on OPAL-RT simulator Riverbed Modeler. It demonstrated that software-defined networking for operational technology (OT SDN) significantly improves to false data injection (FDI) attacks compared traditional networks. Moreover, OT SDN denial service (DoS) attack against controller investigated both proactive reactive modes operation. simulation results verified DoS mode
